In 2011, my husband, J, and I decided to start a family. I had been on hormonal birth control pills in order to regulate my period since high school, so I stopped taking them. Because I am a bit of a hypochondriac, I always assumed that I might have some trouble conceiving. But I never thought that we would still be struggling with infertility four years later.
So often, people ask, "Why don't you just try invitro?", but J and I don't want to go down that road. We know several people who have gone through fertility treatments like IUI and IVF, and we cast no judgment toward them. That just isn't where we feel that God is calling us.
So, because of our convictions, we are attempting other methods. Namely, holistic medicine. This blog is the recording of our journey and my quest to be #grateful for the struggle. I hope you can find some insight in it!
Love, Amy
